Virginia Tech's Team Invent the Future has won two excellence awards at this year’s Race to Zero Student Competition:
On our walk to NREL's facility complex our team ran into Sam Rashkin, DOE's Chief Architect - and even found time for a quick photo shoot. The team will present Virginia Tech's contribution to the Race to Zero this afternoon and is looking forward to test and defend their ideas and desing with an expert panel. They also brought physical construction detail samples to the site for our hallmark "hands-on" approach to building sciences.
The student team has selected Teni Ladipo and Greg Polinger to represent the team "Invent the Future" at the DOE 2015 Race to Zero in Golden Colorado. The students will be accompanied by their faculty advisor Dr. Reichard, who will guide them in their preparation for this event.
