Sarah is currently a graduate research assistant at the Virginia Center for Housing Research, where she gathers census data, created and conducted resident surveys and is a coauthor on “The Impact of Energy Efficiency Construction for LIHTC Housing in Virginia” report. She is enrolled in the Master of Urban and Regional Planning graduate program where her focus is on housing and community development.
Sarah has a B.S. in Architecture from the University of Virginia where she took two courses on building systems and building materials. After studying architecture she served as an Americorps VISTA in the design studio of Community Housing Partners in Christiansburg, Virginia where she worked with architects on construction documents for low-income housing projects.
